Apple Wallet Now Accepts Navigo Passes in Paris

Apple and Île-de-France Mobilités have announced a new partnership that will allow riders to purchase and use Navigo passes directly from their Apple Wallet. This innovative solution offers a convenient, secure, and private way to travel on the Paris metro, bus, rail, and tram networks.
With the Navigo card in Apple Wallet, users no longer need to visit ticket vending machines or reload their physical Navigo cards at retail locations. Instead, they can easily purchase and activate their passes from the Île-de-France Mobilités iOS app or directly within Apple Wallet on their iPhone.
To use the Navigo pass in Apple Wallet, riders can select it from their wallet and double-click the side button of their iPhone. Alternatively, they can enable Express Transit, which allows them to tap their iPhone or Apple Watch on a reader without the need for authentication.
