Three family members of John Hunt were killed in a crossbow attack

Kyle Clifford, the suspected killer, is still at large

Police are hunting for Kyle Clifford, who they believe may be armed with a crossbow, after three women from the same family were killed on Thursday. The victims are reported to be the wife and daughters of BBC Five Live racing commentator John Hunt, who it is understood had been working for the station at the time of the attack.

It is understood that the three women were related to John Hunt, a BBC Five Live racing commentator. The Telegraph reported that the three women were Hunt's wife, Amy, and their two daughters, 14-year-old Emily and 12-year-old Alice.

Police were called to the scene in Norton, near Malton, North Yorkshire, at around 12.45pm on Thursday following reports of a disturbance. They found the three women dead inside the property.

A manhunt has been launched for Clifford, who is described as being in his early 30s, of medium build, with short, dark hair and a beard. He is believed to be armed with a crossbow and should not be approached.

Anyone with information about Clifford's whereabouts is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
